James_Newton_Howard-

James Newton Howard is an amazing composer who does the music for many very popular films. Here are just a few.

The Hunger Games. The Hunger games, Book review, Katniss Everdeen,

James N. Howard wrote the music for the Hunger Games. The music is so beautiful one moment it can have you with tears in your eyes and the next it can have you biting your nails in fear. Suzanne Colin’s excellent books are amazing by them selves and the movies too , but Howard’s music just emphasise’s the beautiful scenes. One of my favourite piece’s from the films is called the “Muttations” from the first film. Please click here to listen to as it is a perfect example of the amazing music which carries through the movies. If you would like to read my review on the Hunger games books click here.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them.

Another example of Howard’s work is the music from fantastic beasts and where to find them. The movie is set in the 1920s so the music is mostly jazzy or swing. An example of this is a piece called Jacobs Bakery click here to listen to it. One of the most amazing piece’s in this movie comes at the very start. It begins with the iconic Hedwigs theme from Harry Potter bu fades into the amazing music of Fantastic beasts and where to find them. Click here to listen to this amazing piece as it is a PERFECT example of the emotions that you go through while watching this scene.

I hope you will listen to all of Howard’s amazing music.
